An event dedicated to start-ups was held In the Park of High Technologies

An event called "Startup Days" was held in the Park of High Technologies. The event lasted for three days: from 14th to 16th of November. The judges formed teams around startup ideas which they recognized to be the most successful, and some competitions were held among them. The winners of competition were awarded with prizes.

"Startup Days" were launched on November 14 with a solemn opening ceremony. The President of the Azerbaijan Internet Forum, the head of the StartUp Azerbaijan project Osman Gunduz in his speech stated that the state will be able to stimulate the creation of new projects, provide them with information and methodological support and strengthen the links between startups within the framework of supporting the national infrastructure of the startups,.

Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Elmir Velizadeh in his speech noted that the state is supporting national startups development and also underlined that this support will be strengthened in the coming years. The Deputy Minister stressed the importance of such events in the formation of the startups infrastructure.

Later within the framework of "Startup Days" a conference on the topic "Formation of national startups infrastructure and investment resources" was held.

General Director of the member of Synergy Group, Cybernet, , Ilham Namazov, in his speech announced that any company, supporting the enthusiasm of young people to create new projects, certainly will be in the center of attention. He stressed the importance of adaptation to market requirements for new projects and gave some recommendations on the application of new ideas. Ilham Namazov also stressed that Cybernet will also act as an investor in upcoming events devoted to startups.

During the "Startup Days" event, 20 startups were presented. The jury and the experts selected 6 most successful projects, and six teams were formed from the participants who shared these ideas.  Various contests were held among the teams.

On the final day of the event, a representative of Cybernet presented valuable prizes to each of the 6 participants of the three winning teams.
